Galway Races - Day 1

Tips for day 1 of the Galway Festival

These tips were picked very quickly this morning, before the prices start coming in, hopefully! so most of them are e/w (each way bets) i.e. easier to pick unless you feel really brave and can back them to win!! I've left out one of the flat sprint races wouldn't really be following the flat horses.

Galway 5.10pm - Serve Time trained by N F Flynn with Paul Carberry on board, should get in or around 11/4 on Paddy Power (PP) RESULTS: [1st] SUMMER SOUL, [2nd] Serve Time, [3rd] Miss Ailbhe

Galway 5.45pm - Forever Free trained by N F Flynn again and ridden by D F Flannery, price around 10/1 on PP RESULTS: [1st] ZEROBERTO, [2nd] Thunder Road, [3rd] Quai de Rosi

Galway 6.20pm - flat sprint race no tips! RESULTS: [1st] FLEETING SHADOW, [2nd] Chivalrous, [3rd] Trachonitis

Galway 7.00pm - Warrens Castle trained by W P Mullins with P W Mullins on board, around 7/1 on PP
Euro Leader traind by Willie again with Ms K Walsh riding, also 7/1 on PP RESULTS: [1st] P'TIT FUTE, [2nd] Navajo Chieftain, [3rd] Athlumney Lad

Galway 8.10pm - (1m4f flat race so not a dead cert just a guess!) Piltown trained by Joseph Crowley ridden by J A Heffernan another 10/1 on PP RESULTS: [1st] ALMIGHTY JADE, [2nd] Cabo, [3rd] Glitter Baby

Galway 8.40pm - Halfback trained by F G Hand ridden by J P McKeown around 10/1 on PP RESULTS: [1st] GLACZER FLYER, [2nd] Off The Mark, [3rd] Split Ear

Thats it for today so Good Luck and don't blame me if they don't come in just because ye are all too lazy to pick your own horses!!!
